Crafts and Giggles (Knitting)

From September to May, a number of St. Charles parishioners gather to make crafts, drink coffee and enjoy some lively conversation. In the past, craft items produced included prayer shawls, teddy bear ears for Winnipeg’s Annual Teddy Bear Picnic, chemo caps for Cancer Care Manitoba, neck warmers for the homeless and hats and mitts for the boys and girls at Rossbrook House. Recently our group made 75 Twiddle Muffs for the Alzheimer’s Society of Winnipeg.

We also contribute items to the St. Charles Christmas Craft and Bake Sale. Everyone, men and women, is welcome to join the group which meets in the church hall on Monday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Contact: Eva 204-963-9001
